my camera is on vacation…
for at least 4-6 weeks it seems. i just got off the phone with peter from peter’s camera repair and he said that everything on the inside of the camera looks good which means it HAS to go to nikon to get looked at. he also said the problem is probably pretty bad and there is a good chance one of the larger circuit boards will need to be replaced. so i guess i’m off to the camera store to pick up a replacement. i wish i had enough for the d200, but another d70 or d70s is going to have to work.
this is so frustrating and the absolute last thing i wanted to spend money on right now. i’m going to make a stop at my insurance company and add all my equipment to my insurance so the next time this happens i won’t have to worry about it.
i think one time you told me that you should have everything insured…but that if that ever happened, you might as well just buy a new one..
exactly. i still might get it all insured because that way if i get my entire bag of gear stolen i won’t be out $2500.00+
how was shopping? did you get all anything cool?

no worries, i ended up picking up a new one until i can get mine fixed. sad day for sure. 🙁
