word of the day: fives

A tool used among friends to retain possession of a certain seat. As the name suggest, fives only works for five minutes. After standing up from his chair, the person announces “fives”, and then can freely do what he needed to, and when he returns no one is allowed to take his seat during his absence.

it’s january 2nd and thunderstorming out. not snowstorming, but thunderstorming…and i love it. i wish michigan winters were like this instead of the typical snow. i love just listening to the rain and feeling that cold air from having my window open. maybe later if i get inspired i might attempt to snap a photo of the rain. for right now though i’m completely content to just sit back, relax, listen to the rain, and drink a beer.

583…photos that is. that’s how many photos i took last night. it’s going to take me a couple days to edit them all, but i’ll have them up soon.

i also wanted to thank everyone that came to the black and white party last night. i hope everyone had as good of a time as i did!
